Thai travelers are looking forward to Sala Thai to take

Sala Thai, the longtime Thai restaurant in downtown Detroit’s
Lafayette Park had been opened for their business from
September 1994 to September 2002. A year later, they had
to move to the new location in eastern market because
of the difficulty of lease extensions to the landlord.
There were so many people from the nearby communities
that came to court to support and fight for Sala Thai
to stay. Unfortunately, we could not make it and we moved
to a new location, eastern market. After that, the owners
of Sala Thai, Mr. Arkom P and Ms. Kanchanit P, were invited
to come back and reopen Sala Thai in the same location
on East Lafayette Avenue. They did not hesitate to come
back because they want to give something back to the community
by opening a nice and beautiful Sala Thai restaurant to
serve good and healthy food to the community again.
